K. Holmes to his classmates: January 10, 1964 Newport High School Class of '33 Dear Former Classmates: Recently, a member of our class returned to Newport after an absence of thirty years. Upon his return home, he found this photograph. He wrote asking me to identify each of us. Whereupon, I embarked upon this project, which has interested me greatly. It is a class directory, including only those in the picture, with limited personal data. If you find any errors, or additions, please advise me. There are a few "lost" members, and if you know their addresses, please let me know. There are several members of our distinguished class not in this picture. We can only assume that they played hookey from school that day. Please accept this opus with my best wishes for the new year. Sincerely, Paul K. Holmes The inside two pages of pamphlet contain a “Class Directory” as follows: |
